Korean: RR: Bangtan Sonyeondan is a South Korean boy band that was produced in 2010 and made its debut in 2013 under the management of Big Hit Entertainment. The big band, which is made up of the musicians Jin, Suga, J-Hope, RM, Jimin, V, and Jungkook, co-writes and co-produces a large portion of their own music. Their lyrics frequently address mental health, issues facing school-age youth and coming of age, loss, the path to self-love, and individualism. Although they started out as a hip hop group, their musical style has developed to incorporate a wide variety of styles. Along with having an alternate universe storyline, their work frequently makes a reference to literature, philosophy, and psychological concepts.

The up – coming Korean military service is confirmed by BTS:

According to Big Hit, the band’s brand and management company, all seven members of the hugely successful K-pop group BTS will be serving in the South Korean military.

After all seven members of BTS have completed their service, according to Big Hit, the group aims to remake “around 2025.”

According to a declaration from Big Hit, “Since the band’s beginnings more than ten years ago, BTS has increased to international success, broken records, and raised K-Pop into the global earth’s atmosphere.” The time has come for these healthy young men to work alongside their fellow citizens, and that time is now, according to BIG HIT MUSIC.

According to Big Hit, Kim Seok-jin, better known as Jin, will be the oldest member of BTS to join the military. Upon the release of his solo project later this month, the 29-year-old plans to join the army.

The band announced a small breakthrough video in June. In that video, the group’s rapper RM, also known as Kim Nam-joon, mentioned, “After ten years of living as BTS and working on all of our schedules, it’s physically impossible for me to mature any longer.”

Due to current North Korean threats, South Korea’s military draft system requires all able-bodied men to serve a minimum of 18 months in the armed forces by the age of 28. Certain athletes and performing artists, particularly those working in classical and traditional music, are eligible.

When Jin turned 28 in 2020, the government granted him a two-year bit of relief from military service in recognition of BTS’s efforts to “keep improving Korea’s international image,” making him one of the first K-pop stars to be awarded such a bit of relief.

BTS to complete military service:

As we are all familiar with the idea now

All seven members of the group are to fulfil their mandatory duties to South Korea, which involve all able-bodied men to serve for 18 to 21 months before their 31st birthday, with oldest member Jin set to be the first to join the army this month, ahead of his 30th birthday in December.

According to a media release from Big Hit Music: “He will then go through the Korean government’s basic training process.

“Other members of the group are planning to carry out their military service according to their own plans.

“Both the company and the BTS participants are looking forward to getting back in touch as a group around 2025, just after their service commitment.”

When did BTS make their announcement?

The announcement was published on the band’s social media accounts just after their free concert in Busan on Saturday to promote South Korea’s World Expo bid (15.10.22).

Based on the declaration: “BIG HIT MUSIC is thrilled to announce that BTS members are currently working on plans to complete their military service.

“After the absolutely astounding concert to support Busan’s bid for International Exhibition 2030, and as each specific launches on solo projects, it’s the ideal time, and BTS members are appreciated to join.

The plan, similarly, was met with opposition from many people who had performed their duties and appears to have been dismissed.

Establishment and early history: 2010-2014

BTS performed at the Incheon Music Centre in 2013.BTS was formed in 2010 after Big Hit Entertainment CEO Bang Si-hyuk wanted to form a hip hop gang centred on RM (Kim Namjoon), a well-known underground rapper in Seoul. BTS was supposed to be a hip hop group at first, but after seeing falling album sales, he changed his mind, believing that a different path would be more marketable. He chose to break away from the normal, strong centralised idol groups by forming one in which the members would be individuals rather than an outfit, free to express themselves. Auditions were held in 2010 with plans to launch the following year.

The band members continued to live together and trained up to 15 hours a day before their first achievement in 2013 in front of a small crowd of business insiders .
